Rates

All document proofreading and copyediting work is charged by the page. We use the industry standard of 250 words per page. Page count is determined by calculating total word count and dividing it by 250. Font and formatting do not affect this count.

The minimum charge per job is $25. This fee will be waived for the clients who submit work regularly (at least two items per month).

Turnaround time is one to five business days from the date your document is received. Expedited services are available for an extra fee.

All other services, including website editing, writing, and data/software quality assurance services are charged at an hourly rate. Free estimates are provided before work commences.

Basic Copy Editing and Proofreading
This service includes editing for spelling, typographical, punctuation, and capitalization errors, as well as awkward grammar.
$5.00 per page - Word/Excel/Access for Windows documents, hardcopy
$7.50 per page - PDF files

Expanded Copy Editing
This service includes basic proofreading as well as an analysis of structure, clarity, sense, word choice, redundancies and inconsistencies in narrative voice. $7.50 per page

Website Editing and Testing
This service includes expanded editing of all existing text plus thorough testing of links
and forms.
$25.00 per hour (Example: A small website of 11 pages with links takes approximately three hours to analyze. Therefore, the fee for this test would be $75.00)

Web Content Writing
This service includes all research necessary to create new web content. $25.00 per hour

Press Release Writing and Distribution
This service includes up to two pages or 500 words (approx.) of information written in the accepted media format. Distribution is available at an additional rate.
$25.00 per page regardless of word count
$1.00 per submission to target media

Online Event Submission Service
This service includes submission of event information to online event calendars. A spreadsheet listing the websites to which the event was submitted will be provided.
$25.00 minimum - $1.00 per submission – whichever is greater

Data and Black Box Functionality Testing
For larger jobs, including user interface and data testing work, we charge a consulting hourly rate starting at $50 per hour - depending on the complexity of the job and the job deadline.
